- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white Kampot pepper
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
Whisk together vinegar, sugar, Kampot pepper and salt until sugar and salt dissolves.
Place onions in a container with a tight lid and pour vinegar mixture over.
Let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Drain onions before serving.
