Machaca

Ingredients

  • 2 pound boneless beef roast
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 oz can of chopped green chilis
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
  • 10 whole Kampot peppercorns
  • 1 cup salsa

Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients, except salsa, in a crockpot and cook until tender.

  2. Transfer to large bowl and shred beef with two forks.

  3. Add salsa to meat mixture and stir.

  4. Serve in tacos, as a main dish or mix into scrambled eggs.
